Lisbon airport is centrally located and only about 5 km away from ISCTE - Instituto Universitário de Lisboa (ISCTE-IUL) , the Conference venue. There is connection with metro from the airport using first the red line from the underground (metro) station at the airport and then connecting to the yellow line at "São Sebastião" station. You should leave the train at the station "Cidade Universitária" which is within close walking distance to the Conference Venue. The trip takes about 20/25 minutes and the one-way ticket costs 1,45€
The average maximum and minimum temperature in the Lisbon area in June are 21ºC / 69 F (high) and 17ºC / 62 F (low). Please take into consideration that Lisbon is located by the river and the ocean, and therefore can be somewhat windy in the late afternoon or evening. A sweater or a ladies pashmina may be necessary.
