Submission Guidelines

Abstract and Symposia submission are now closed.

We welcome your contribution to the 2019 ENMESH Conference that will take place in Lisbon, 6-8 June 2019 based on the following guidelines.

The Scientific programme is built around three main presentation types:

  • Symposia: 60 min sessions with 1 chair (or with 1 chair and 1 co-chair) and 3 to 4 speakers
  • Oral communications: 90 min sessions with 4 to 5 oral communications no longer than 15 minutes each. The oral communications will be grouped according to the Conference themes.
    The Session chairs will be appointed by the Scientific Committee. Please note that abstracts submitted as Oral communication may be qualified and considered as Poster Presentation.
  • Poster presentations: 60 min sessions to take place on 6 and 7 June.

Important Dates:

17 September 2018   Opening of Abstracts Submission

3 December 2018    New Deadline for symposium proposal submission 

3 January 2018       New deadline for submission of oral communications/posters and for abstracts to be included in already submitted symposia

February 2019          Notification to authors

30 March 2019         Registration deadline for presenting authors and symposia chairs


Presenting authors and Symposia chairs should register for the 2019 ENMESH Conference no later than 30 March 2019 for their abstracts to be included in the final programme.

Symposia submission guidelines

  • The symposium chairperson should submit a proposal with a limit of 250 words for the symposium that should include the following:
    Symposium title
    Introduction to the subject
    Main objectives of the symposium
    Expected contributions and take home scientific information of the symposium
  • Until 15 December 2018
    The proposer of the symposium should submit the abstracts of the speakers (maximum 4) that will take part in the symposium. Each abstract should be structured in the following way;
  •  Introduction
  •  Objectives
  •  Methods
  •  Results
  •  Conclusions
  • Names and affiliations of the speakers


Abstract Submission guidelines

Before submitting your abstract online, please prepare the following information to be inserted in the online submission form:   

  •   Presenting author's contact details
  •   Email address
  •   Full postal address
  •   Telephone contact
  •   Author and co-authors' details (Full first and family name(s))
  •   Affiliation details: department, institution / hospital, city, state (if relevant), country
  •   Abstract title - limited to 20 words 
  •   Abstract text - limited to 250 words 

Abstract layout - Abstracts should use the following structured format:

  •   Introduction
  •   Objectives
  •   Methods
  •   Results
  •   Conclusions
