Submission Guidelines

Submit your abstract

We welcome abstract submissions to the 2019 ENMESH Conference that will take place in Lisbon, 6-8 June 2019 based on the following guidelines.

The Scientific programmer is built around three main presentation types:

  • Symposia: 60 min sessions with 1 chair and 3 to 4 speakers
  • Oral communications: 90 min sessions with 4 to 5 oral communications no longer than 15 minutes each. The oral communications will be grouped according to the Conference themes.
    The Session chairs will be appointed by the Scientific Committee. Please note that abstracts submitted as Oral communication maybe qualified and considered as Poster Presentation.
  • Poster presentations: 60 min sessions to take place on 6 and 7 June.

Important Dates:

17 September 2018   Opening of Abstract Submission

15 November 2018    Submission deadline for proposals of Symposia/Workshop  

15 December 2018    Abstract submission deadline  

February 2019            Notification to authors

30 March 2019           Registration deadline for presenting authors and symposia chairs


Presenting authors and Symposia chairs should register for the 2019 ENMESH Conference no later than 30 March 2019 for their abstracts to be included in the final programme.

Symposia submission guidelines

  • Until 15 November 2018
    The symposium chairperson should submit a proposal abstract for the symposium that should include the following:
    Symposium title
    Introduction to the subject
    The main objectives of the symposium
    The contributions and the take home scientific information of the symposium
  • Until 15 December 2018
    The chair of the proposed symposium should submit the individual abstracts (maximum 4) to be included in the Symposium. Each abstract should be structured in the following way;
  •  Introduction
  •  Objectives
  •  Methods
  •  Results
  •  Conclusions


Abstract Submission guidelines

Before submitting your abstract online, please prepare the following information to be inserted in the online submission form:   

  •   Presenting author's contact details
  •   Email address
  •   Full postal address
  •   Telephone contact
  •   Author and co-authors' details (Full first and family name(s))
  •   Affiliation details: department, institution / hospital, city, state (if relevant), country
  •   Abstract title - limited to 20 words 
  •   Abstract text - limited to 250 words 


Abstract layout - Abstracts should use the following structured format:

  •   Introduction
  •   Objectives
  •   Methods
  •   Results
  •   Conclusions
